SEAGLASS & SILVER Jewellery by Sophie Garratt

Sophie has recently been working on a line of jewellery to sell in the gallery and online for 2009.

After some training with the established silversmith Brian Clarke in Ireland in 2002, Sophie has always enjoyed jewellery making and working with silver.

The Seaglass & Silver range combines hand crafted silver and hammered silver 'nuggets' with beautiful pieces of sea-worn glass that she finds washed up on Scilly's shores.

There are no two pieces of sea glass exactly the same making each a unique item of jewellery and with every piece of glass drilled by hand the delicate and time consuming process ensures a bespoke range.

A few of her most recent designs are shown here but more will be uploaded as they are made.

Seaglass and Silver bangles have just been added to this range and soon to join them is Sophie's new necklace designs...

All silver used is 925 sterling silver and hallmarked.
